Oops... thank you for checking. I just verified both boardview and schematics, UG10 is indeed the GPU BIOS and there is no separate chip for the EC unfortunately.
For reference, there is no activity on the CS (Chip Select) pin when the CPU doesn't initialize, despite the GPU gradually warming up.Comment

i'm on a holliday now and wanted to check out my orders and remembered that this laptop came with it8227e-256 chip and i have replaced it with a 192 one. Could this be a problem? Or the ec firmware for 2.0 board is still 192kbyte? I have asked for the seller tomsend me the ec firmware that he flashed maybe it will give us some light on what could be the problemComment

Hi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue.... -
I have recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen4 Twist with Dual Screen. Here are the links for the product information:

However, somehow the serial number and the product name is no longer showing under the BIOS, Windows 11 or Lenovo Vantage.
Strangely the laptop's under cover does not show any information about the Make, Model, Type or Serial Number (No sign of tampering but no labels etc...). I am not sure what to do.

I got a 15-IIL05 that failed to turn on BUT IT DID TRY TO TURN ON and then turned off after 30+- seconds, i disassembled it and found a screw loose inside the case.
With charger it turns on, fan spins but gives no image.
Tested main mosfets no short, tested 3.3v,5v,DRAM, CPU etc and they were present.
Reflashed BIOS, same problem.
Replaced both main mosfets.
Checked main mosfets again and i noticed that they closed once the laptop shut down, so i decided to bypass them and used a bench PSU to check how much power the laptop was drawing while trying to turn on, 20v@3A,... -

Hello,
I got a Lenovo ThinkStation P520 (Type 30BF) from a friend, asking me for a repair. Windows 11 offered a firmware upgrade as an optional update, and it failed.
The emergency flash procedure from the hardware manual has also failed. So, I asked an acquaintance with better skills to flash the BIOS directly.
However, the chip (a Macronix MX25L25673GMI-08G) has a size of 32 MB, and the BIOS file from the Lenovo website (extracted with UEFITool) has a little more than 16 MB. Thus, the software my acquaintance used (SiberiaProg v1.45, with a CH341A Programmer)...
