DAG37AMB8C0 REV C not turning on after PCH replacement

Come to me as PCH shorted so ordered the IC and replaced it.
BIOS chip was missing and since there is no s/n number on the board only assumed that maybe DAG37AMB8C0 bios is good for it.
Dont have the original charger so lab power supply is used for measuring. so I don't have AD_ID pin voltage

When the BIOS IC was missing and PCH was already replaced:
    I have Voltages on:
    Powerbutton (3.3v)
    + 3.3VS5_S (3.3V)
    + 5VS5_S (5V)
    - no light on the charger LED

After BIOS is introduced to the board and flashed it with DAG37AMB8C0 BIOS:
    I have Voltages on:
    Powerbutton (3.3v)
    - 3.3VS5_S - 0V
    - 5VS5_S - 0V
    - steady white light on the charger port LED

Board taking 0.008 milliamps on plugin
When power button pressed then goes up to 0.013 and for 2-4 second it varies then goes back to 0.008

What would you suggest to move on?
Should I get a charger and check if the problem is AD_ID pin?

Found an EC and BIOS files for G37A board.
With this BIOS flashed,Now charger has white LED and when I press the power button then every power rail comes with good voltages.
Power button white LED also on, but after 2 second it shuts off.
When starting the GPU and CPU heating up for seconds, the fan spins and motherboard draws around 800 miliamp for 1 sec.
I have read that if this happens then I dont have correct charger (AD_ID pin voltage)
Now I will try to get my hand on a blue connector HP charger for test.

From other forums I have concluded that 5 long 3 short is a correct LED error if there is problem with RAM, CMOS BATTERY, SIO or PCH.
So I guess this could be my BIOS: 08209
Since I have tryed replaced CMOS battery I move on to find another RAM then reflow new PCH.

Looking at the schematics table the Adapter select is only scaled until 200w (3v). since I have an original 280W charger that has 3.2V on AD_ID i was beginging to think maybe a too large charger could make the EC go to protection mode?
Partial sucess. Yes. I have plugged in a 230W charger and the power button turns on the laptop.

Now it turns on and draws 612-705 milliAmps but not do anything. All voltages are present and still 5 long 3 short.
Since DDR4_DRAMRESET is low (0.052v) despite 1.2 volt present, I have read that this could be a problem with BIOS not correct.
Next step is lets try to reflash all BIOS versions and see any of them is starting

It sounds strange, but I made a similar experience with a Lenovo X380: it did not start with an original Lenovo 230W charger, but it started with a 90W charger.

                - I have checked with 3 known good RAM in different slots.
                - Inspected all pins on RAM slots.
                - checked PCH top capacitors. all have 3.3v or 1.0v
                - CPU 1.0v and GPU 0.9v are coming up, but DDR4_DRAMRST still low.

                I'm out of ideas

Possibly cracked solder balls under the CPU. A ram slot tester can sometimes help https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003878784249.html

Both PCH and CPU is bad. What are the odds?

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
                        by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

                        by Prott
                        Hello,
can somebody, please, help me diagnosing and issue regarding SP7? This machine is killing me

Once I plug it into the charger and press the button it turns on and immediately off due to the charger cutting off power.

I measured all the voltages / signals and it seems to get through the power on sequence into an S0 state with all voltages and signals present (it even goes as far as to display the Microsoft logo and starts reading from the bios), however after around 100 ms the charger cuts off the power.

I checked the charger and it seems...

                        Laptop Question
                        Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).

A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when...

Dell Inspiron 7567 LA-D993P odd charger issue
                        by Johndill
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 7567 LA-D993P that I've just got running.
There was corrosion around PU1503 which shorted PC1518 & blew PL1504. (Reference pictures attached)
I've replaced PC1518 & PL1504 & the laptop is now running however I now have another issue.

                        Here are the tested scenarios:

                        1. With the laptop running on battery, I plug in the 150W charger & the charger shuts off (no LED, protection mode) but the laptop remains running on battery.

                        2. With the laptop off, plug in charger (LED says on) & the front charging...

The ISL6257HRZ ISL6257HRZ-T is a highly integrated battery charger controller
for Li-Ion/Li-Ion polymer batteries. ISL6257 is designed for
Narrow VDC applications where the system power source is
either the battery pack or the regulated output of the charger.
This makes the max voltage to the system equal to the max
battery voltage instead of the max adapter voltage. Operating
