Just want to share this simple fix on a Samsung netbook regarding power switch. Its applicable on models np-n145, np-n150 and np-n102s etc.
I used jumpers found on motherboards or hard drive. Cut the the plastic for the jumper to fit. Inserted the jumper and glued it to make it stable. That's it, hope it helps

Problem :
White Screen on LCD but OK to Ext Monitor
How To :
1. Reflow GPU ( Still White )
2. Change LCD ( No Display )
3. Check Flex Cable ( No Problem )
4. Check every signal and voltage on JLVDS1, found that no voltage on +LCDVDD, only 0.20v instead 3.3v. Trace signal at Q8 pin #5 ENAVDD from GPU chipset, voltage is ok 3.3v. That mean no problem with GPU ( sometimes problem from GPU itself ). Suspect on Q7, it's source for +LCDVDD ( my opinion ), replaced with Q155, a quick way before go to scrap mobo . Test it..and yess Compaq logo appears on the screen. Done
Forgot take a picture, anyway I attach a schematic for reference. Hope this help anyone who have same problem
Likely as common problem for this series, have been receipt 4 mobos which shorted on same point (on december)
Culprit: C571 ceramic caps rated 10uF 25V
Problem/Sympthom: Intermitt
Sometime can power on, at another time it did'nt work.
1. Measure on power button, 3.3V have been present - OK
2. Already re-flash bios with no result
2. Replace ON/OFF button, problem still remain
4. Measure resistance on RN (resistor network) that have connected with ON/OFF. the value still good. Try disconnect IO board from main board, then try switch from EC/KBC/SIO pin PWRSW#. The Mobo can turn on without problem.
5. Replace RN then solve the problem,
6. Test it on some hour. Finally problem solved

This is about the most common fault I see in this workshop. 0805 10uF 25V ceramics shattering like that, multiple brands. I like it, easy to spot generally, easy to replace.
Dell 3521
Problem: no display
1. Missing +VCC_CORE & +VCC_GFXCORE_AXG.
2. Checking PU700 (ISL95833HRTZ) VCCP is missing =1.8v how is connected to +5VS, it should be 5V.
3. Checking +5VS at QZ1 (+5VALW to +5VS), +5VALW present (Drain), Gate (0v), Source (1.8v).
4. Checking B+_BIAS connection ok and present, checking RZ4 resistance broken (56kohm), replace it and finally problem solved.
