    macbook a1706 820-00923 NO SSD

    need help! macbook turns on but does not see ssd (folder with question mark). in disk utility also not through system recovery! 2.7v is missing!
    PICCOLO_IUVD=1.83v!
    PP3V3_S5_SSD=3.3v!
    replacing U9300 did not give result!

    What is the resistance to ground of the missing 2v7 rail (without power to the board of course)?

      found that PP5V_S4 is present but the lines have high resistance of about 21 ohms (instead of 8 kiloohms)! but there is no short! having dropped almost everything that is on this line (this is not a little)) I found the culprit of high resistance U3500! I replaced it and I got all the voltages on the SSD side:
      PP0V9_SSD_REG=0.9v
      PP1V8_SSD_COLD=1.8v
      PP1V2_SSD_HOT=1.2v
      PP3V3_2V7_NAND_VCC=2.7v
      P2V7NAND_PGOOD=2.7v
      but the damn SSD still does not see the Mac (

        Maybe SSD is nuked?

          most likely! perhaps the ssd file is damaged since all U8600 PCIE_SSD lines are active and access the ssd but... another repair failed!

            Be sure it is not one of these issues:

                  In the video he just installed 4 new SSD chips! Don't they need to be programmed? Or is this only the case with the T2?

                    Never done this but yes, my understanding is only T2 needs the extra care. Dosdude1 has a similar video where he installed a fresh ssd using a board from iBoff. Check their website for details. Keep us updated on this case.
