Hey guys,
I need help, again..
highpulse was a good Samaritan and he flashed both my BIOS chips. I came home all happy to get my laptop working, but laptop still doesn't boot. Both chips act the same.
Now the laptop powers on, even lights up battery charging LED, but i have no RAM beep errors and no screen.
I'm lost.. Any ideas?

I did! Both SB and GPU. No results. I also checked voltages on coils, everything was good.
I'm somehow convinced this BIOS needs some mod to work. It's illogical what happened..
But I don't what else to do, so I'll send the board for reballing SB which is heating up more now and pray to God it solves the issue.

Hi, I have the same problem with this C850D-125 model, came to me with no image, so I unsoldered the BIOS chip, reprogram it with official 6.10 from win8 directory. After solder back the chip, the laptop is working ok until I change the boot from UEFI to CSM. After save and exit BIOS, there is no image again. I try to reflash several times and with other chips, but the problem persist.Comment

No I din`t, I had reinstall the os in UEFI mode, but there was some problems with the VGA driver, I bet it's BAD video chip or contacts.Comment

I was able to boot fine in uefi mode again, but seems to have same problem, video chip bad, gives bsod randomly about video driver...Comment

The laptop could not load Windows and every time it threw a bluescreen - y - most often WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. The processor that was originally in it was AMD RYZEN 7 5800H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000295. I decided to replace it with a fully functional, used AMD RYZEN 5 5600H MOBILE PROCESSOR - 100-000000296, which I got from a donor board, on which it worked 100%. After soldering the processor, I also uploaded a new, fresh BIOS to it with the UBT2 program... -

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.
2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.
The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but... -

I own a Lenovo ideapad v310-15IKB with an i5 7th generation with only Intel graphics configuration.
Now the heart of the problem is that I don't know when or how it happened but I suddenly started getting distortion in the graphics output on the LCD. This basically meant a black screen full of flickering multicolored short horizontal lines. This would happen 30-60 minutes after booting and using it normally.
