Re: toshiba A200 la3481p
I have a similar problem on my A200.
With battery installed and ac plug:
- no leds light
- no action if press power
- no charge
- nothing
- same behavior without battery
with battery only:
- If I press power it powers on. leds light up.
- after powered on I can plug AC adapter and works fine, charges battery etc.
- If I power off from windows, the led for ac plug and battery charge still work
- If I pull ac plug off and on it no longer works.
Anyone knows where in the board...

Re: Toshiba Satellite - Locks up when plugged in
Hello.
For the 3rd time I have a toshiba laptop with the symptoms required for a capacitor OE128 replace.
So that's what I did, I replaced it with 4x Tantalum Capacitor 330uf 2.5v SMD LOW ESR .
Previous times I had success.
This time It did not correct the problem... If I boot with only the battery and then I plug the power, after 2 seconds the laptop shuts down and reboots.
If I boot with the power connected sometimes I get into desktop and then it freezes or reboots.
Some times when it freezes...

Re: Samsung LE32A336 bad PSU (maybe)
Ok I tested it before without the back on.
Now I put the back, and it is working so far for 2 hours...

Re: Samsung LE32A336 bad PSU (maybe)
Yes it rebooted endlessly.
I called a friend and he identified what must be the problem: dry joints
When the tv heats the solder no longer makes good connection and goes out.
here are some pictures. tested the tv for 4,5 hours and still on......

Re: Toshiba Satellite - Locks up when plugged in
Success.
I ordered 4 330uf from here: http://www.mobofix.info/loja/product.php?id_product=262
It was a little hard to solder this, but now the board posts.
Then I tried booting to windows and worked fine from the charger only, but then started making a buzzing noise.
Is it normal?Re: Toshiba Satellite - Locks up whe...o solder this,

Re: Toshiba Satellite - Locks up when plugged in
Hello.
I'm also having the issue you're discussing here in a toshiba L300.
Mine had a OE907 so I look on the web I bought one right away for 10 EUR that arrived next day.
It was a bit difficult to remove the old one and solder the new but I managed to do it and reassemble everything.
but now the board does not boot. I press power led lights up but no image on screen.
I wonder If I ruin the capacitor while trying to solder it, so I put the old one back and it is the same does not boot, no display....
