Test with another known good SATA cable.
Test with other known good RAM.
Test with a bootable USB media that is loaded with a distribution of Linux. Can that load ok? If yes, then the fault is between the SATA controller / wiring / power to this bootable media.Comment

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.
I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...-

by Stanley1843I tried to install Linux on a secondary disk in my PC and after a failed Linux grub installation my PC didn't boot in Windows 11. I saw the message (Reboot and select a proper Boot device).

by DynaxSCHi,
I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.
Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.
The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:- The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
- POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket

by 0xxHi folks,
My son clicked “Update and Shutdown” on a Razer Blade 14 (2022, RZ09-0427), closed the lid, disconnected the charger, and put the laptop in his backpack. The next day, it wouldn’t boot: only the green LED blinked, no fans, no keyboard backlight, no display. The chassis does get warm, so the CPU/GPU seems to get power.
What I’ve tried so far: disconnecting the main battery, CMOS reset with power drain (30s), using a different power adapter, and connecting to the monitor - same result.
I assumed that Windows Update was interrupted due to closing... - Loading...
