Share the voltage to ground of ppbus_g3h. Check both sides of the fuse near the ISL9239 charger ic.

    Careful during these measurements.

MacBook Air M1 (A2337 / 820-02016) dead - no power, DFU restore fails after iBSS send, good voltages - NAND dead?
      by hiltsu
Hi everyone, first post here – long-time reader though. I have a dead MacBook Air M1 (2020) that won't charge or power on.

      Device info:
      MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
      Model j313ap (A2337, logic board 820-02016)

      Symptom:
No charging, no power on at all.

      Restore attempts:
Apple Configurator finds the MacBook in DFU mode, as Linux with lsusb: Bus 001 Device 021: ID 05ac:1227 Apple, Inc. Mobile Device (DFU Mode).

It looks like the MacBookAir is in firmware boot loop. I have tried to restore 14.x version and 26.2 (latest) version firmware,...

Macbook Pro A1707 - Dead - Battery 'popped'
      by AdrenalinTL
      Hi Peeps.

Just a quick question please as I am by no means an Apple fundi at all.

Can a 'popped' battery cause the Macbook to be completely dead? Client said the battery definitely popped. It doesn't look swelled or anything but it doesn't switch on at all. No lights, no fans, nothing.

Also, using a 85W original Apple charger. That is working for sure. Does it need more wattage?

Don't want to go buy a battery for no reason.

Client is adamant is worked before the battery popped and I can't see any damage what so ever on the board...

      MacBook Pro 15-Inch | Mid 2017 | A1707 | 820-00928-A | 3,1 GHz i7, Radeon Pro 560, 16GB, 1TB | Boardview and Schematics
      by CG_Dionysos
      Hello,

I am looking for the boardview file and the matching schematics (PDF) for the following MacBook Pro:
      • Model: A1707
      • 15-inch, Mid 2017
      • 3.1 GHz Core i7
      • 16 GB RAM
      • Radeon Pro 560
      • 1 TB SSD
      • Board number: 820-00928-A
I already searched the forum, but so far I haven’t found a matching boardview for this board. In several posts I came across, it was also mentioned that the uploaded files were often incorrect.

      Thanks in advance!

      Greetings from Germany...
