macbook pro a1990 - 820-01041 drawing 5v on usb c port

Hello

working on a 820-01041 a1990 macbook pro
the machine is only drawing 5v on usb c ports, and around 0.24a

one board measured 5v and 0.00a but later when i connected again it's went to 0.24a

ppbus is 12.27v-12.29v

is not recognized on apple configurator on dfu or recovery

can't seem to find a short anywhere on board but with the power adapter connected (without battery)
i notice the t2 chip is getting a little hot..

pp1v8_slps2r present and doesnt seems to be shorted..

any ideas? how can i confirm wheter t2 is the problem or not?

Are you drawing an immediate 0.24A on the 5v USB C ? Or does it climb up to this current value?

sorry for the late response

main port is drawing 0.00a 5v for around 10 seconds and than jumps to 0.24-0.25a steady.

all other 3 ports once connected starting on 0.01 to 0.11 and immediatly to 0.24-0.25a steady. (total around a 1second to get to this amp draw).

but can't find any port that is boot looping
the only thing that is diffrent between the others is that the main port starts off with 0.00a 5v

after a few seconds it climbs also to 0.25-24a

any help would be appreciated..

Measure the voltage to ground at the battery connector J6951 for:

SMBUS_3V3_BATT_SCL
SMBUS_3V3_BATT_SDA

Post each measurement.
