Dell Inspiron 3542 Turns on works for 30 seconds to 1 minute then turns off

Hi all need some help, I've got a Dell insprion 15 3542 that turns on works for about 30 seconds or sometimes a minute or two and then turns off and wont turn on again until I remove and replug the power connector
Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
    All voltages are present.
Wondering if this as anything to do with one wire circuit, the charger is not original, but it was working fine
    Motherboard is Cedar 13269-1 F3XMC Rev A00

    the charger is not original
Is the charger for use with a DELL? What is the power rating? It was working fine with THIS laptop? The PSID line will share details of the power adapter using a 1-wire protocol. If the adapter does not match the requirements, the unit will power off.

Yeah it's a compatible one, usually there's a warning when you turn on Dell laptops with those universal power adapters, but this one works with no warnings, it's specific for Dell's. This one as 90W, 19,5V with 4.62A

Does it boot like normal in the 30seconds - 1 minute? You see the Dell graphics / power on text?

First try out a genuine 65W dell adapter and check in bios setup whether its detected as 65W.

Yes it does look pretty normal, I do see the Dell Logo and Windows spinning wheel and no power messages as I stated before. I'll try to source an original Dell adapter to see if that helps

The reason for the comments by mcplslg123 is that the adapter ID can be faked by software. It is simple enough to take a $1 worth of hardware to make ANY adapter appear to be 90w rated. There are public articles on the internet to build your own fake style cables for testing with a lab bench power supply. It is vital for you to test with a stable 90W or higher rated power adapter from Dell which can be trusted. See the laptop specs for the proper adapter selection.

                    .

Also you must check immediately after power off if 3/5 is present or not...if it's not present it may be Q2402 faulty

Yesterday only i received a dell PS_ID dongle which when used with dc supply, detects as 240W allowing gaming boards to power on from a 65W/90W adapter. To top it all,it even charges the battery. So there is no end to this fake business.
