    Excellent. You should be ok with powering up without having this one capacitor. The logic boards are often fitted with a group of bulk caps to assist each other. Respectively, the board will not halt the operation if one cap is missing. As long as there are no other shorted caps, you should be fine to test the board.

      It's alive! Thank you so much for all your help.

      Apple wanted $400+ to replace the logic board, ebay had it for $200+ but at the end it ended up being a $5 fix for capacitor + shipping. All thanks to this forum and the wonderful contributors. šŸ™
