    HP 450 G1 Boot ask F1 continue F10 bios

Hi, I got HP 450 G1 with boot problem always asking F1 continue F10 bios. I had bad battery on it and replace it with new one because it was giving me error 601. I was thinking that this F1 continue F10 BIOS has to do something with my bad battery, but when I replace it I was not having error 601 anymore but that message on boot with F1 continue F10 BIOS is still here. I tried to replace CMOS battery and reset bios, nothing. I tried to flash new BIOS but it already have latest one and I even tried to overwrite it, still same. Don't know what to do anymore. Does someone have any clue what this could be ?

    https://www.computerhope.com/issues/...C%20and%20exit.

Go to your BIOS and select to load factory defaults -> save and exit. Does that work?

If you do select F1, does the unit continue to boot normally?

Did that too, doesn't help. When I select F1 it boots to windows normally.

Go into the BIOS and save changes (even though nothing has changed) -> reboot.

Did that too, still asking. But I noticed if I don't touch anything for 4-5 seconds it starts too boot into windows.

Check to see if you have an option in the bios for a FAST BOOT. Enable it if you do. Save and exit to retest.

              It's enabled, same thing.

Review the first answer here - perhaps the same as yours.

                https://community.hpe.com/t5/prolian...p/td-p/4979272

                You can disable "F1" from the advanced options in the system configuration utility. Press "F10" during POST process;
when you see screen "System Configuration" press CTRL+A - you will have message like "advanced mode has now been enabled"
Go to System Configuration->Configure hardware-> Review or modify hardware settings->View or edit Details-> under advanced features there is F1 boot prompt option.

Not the same error. This user have problem with proliant, that's server. When I press F10(which is like I wrote beside that F1 options that pops on boot) laptop goes into BIOS, laptops and servers have two very very different BIOS from one another, and laptops don't have that option for CTRL+A to go in advanced mode.

                    Found a problem.

Shorting touchpad, to be exact part where buttons are that electronic was bad and touchpad was not working for some reason. Now I replaced it with new one and it's working, and more F1 and F10 message.

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

Bios partially corrupted somehow and now warm boot doesn't work which is critical
                      by Neddsme
                      Hie.
I own a Lenovo ideapad v310-15IKB with an i5 7th generation with only Intel graphics configuration.
Now the heart of the problem is that I don't know when or how it happened but I suddenly started getting distortion in the graphics output on the LCD. This basically meant a black screen full of flickering multicolored short horizontal lines. This would happen 30-60 minutes after booting and using it normally.
I run Windows 10 20H build so I thought it was just a Windows update issue or graphics driver outdated issue.
I managed to run Windows troubleshooting and...

Lenovo LOQ mdl 151RH8 bios Q: Can't get usb boot to list
                      by Max029
I've searched and read Beginners guidelines and other sticky threads. This is just a simple bios question. If I may, I'm having trouble finding any help, including from lenovo tech support & forum, for how to get usb boot to list in boot options. I'm trying to run memtest86 so nothing as highfaluting as re-install, flash a bios, etc.

I've made usb boot enabled and secure boot is disabled. I can find no other option in bios ver LZCN34WW (the original bios). Would anyone here be familiar with LOQ or Legion bios versions & know what is going on?
