    Compaq nc6000 power problem

    Hi, forum I have a compaq nc6000 which is having a power problem, The mosfets around the D1008 just gets shorted when Ac adapter is plugged in, I have replace this mosfet several times but the same problem occurs immediately you plug in the adapter, I need help solving this problem,
    The mosfets are shown in the picture attached

    I managed to solve this problem, the laptop now works perfect. thank you alll

      What did you do just swap that mosfet?
      Just cook it! It's already broken.

        A bit of info on what was done to fix the problem would be nice to all members of the forum.
