Hi all thought i may of found the fix in here but i didnt , i have a c660d that got a broken screen so i changed it the laptop works fine from an external monitor but will not light the screen i can see the toshiba sign but that is it i have had all the fuses checked and there fine also changed the screen cable if anyone has any ides what the problem may be cheers

i have the same problem with C660D and i tried everything...other screen...new cable screen...rework vga....clear cmos...nothing.i see this again in a lot toshiba laptop when broken screen change. please someone give an idea...Comment

I tried to solve it via LA-6842P Schematics but it seems to be different.
Has anyone located the fuse or the schematics?

You got any hi-res pics of the board? Some Toshiba boards I've repaired recently have had odd sort of fuses that look like resistors.Greetings,

I have tried almost every bios available on various platforms about this laptop but the problem is still the same.
I even successfully build my own bios using the one from the Hp website but the problem the laptop still getting stuck there.
Even if i try to press Esc key nothing happens. I tried f10 it doesn't go to bios still stuck there i just saw entering setup menu on the bottom left corner of the

on this laptop hp g72 b52sf i have screen problems as you can see with the photo joined in attachments.
the used graphic card is "intel hd graphics" and the id of the integrated screen is : "monitor/SEC3354".
i verified the driver of the péripherals and they are ok. i verified the definition and settings of the graphic card and of the screen : definition 1600x900 and refreshment frequency :60hz. (they are the sames for the graphic card and the screen).
i don't understand the reasons of the white stripe at the bottom of the screen below the task... -
