If it is LCD have you tried a different inverter?

there are mainly 4 pins for your back light, +, gnd, on/off and brightness. find your mobo. schematic, check lcvd circuit, find the pins. if one of them is missing, find out why.

Can confirm the C660D is an LED backlit model. I repaired one of these not so long ago.

                          Re: toshiba c660d laptop

                          Greetings,

I am facing the same problem here and I am not able to find the exact schematics for this mobo ( PWWBE LA-6846P REV:2.0 ).

I tried to solve it via LA-6842P Schematics but it seems to be different.

Has anyone located the fuse or the schematics?

                          Thanks in advance.

You got any hi-res pics of the board? Some Toshiba boards I've repaired recently have had odd sort of fuses that look like resistors.

This is exactly the same with the schematic I mentioned before. It did not help me much since it is for 6842p. Thanks a lot for your reply.
