    Alternative Component: IC

    Hi everyone

I have here a Samsung GT-P7500. It has no power. Im looking for an IC: "8903CE TI203 ITHK +". It's not on the web anywhere. Can anyone share the alternative to use instead?

Could not find a datasheet for it but found this on Mouser: http://uk.mouser.com/ProductDetail/M...IigyR6icslA%3d

    Thanks!

Wow, a galaxy tab that is broken?

Have you checked all the voltage rails for shorts, or just no voltage/wrong voltage?

Otherwise, the chip could be the problem. It is a battery charger chip.

Also check the voltage from the battery terminals, to see if the battery is OK. If it is lower than 3v then I sugguest you replace it. When discharged too much, the LiPO batteries will bloat and possible blow up when charged again...

      Re: Alternative Component: IC

      Hi

Sorry but the part is 8903CE TI150 ITHK +. But yea the battery is not the issue as without the battery is should still out put charging voltage. I do have a service manual and it leads to the IC being damaged. But I need the part. The mouser link above is the only alternative I've seen.

And yes a Galaxy tab that is broken

No voltage to battery so that would conclude faulty IC. 30-50 pin cable is ok.

NO voltage at the battery? That doesn't sound good!

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
          by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Acer a515-43 low battery charge voltage

          Hi

          Acer A515-43
          LA-H801P

Fail: Does not charge battery, has low voltaje on connector.

Laptop didn't want to turn on, only charge led blinked.

I found PQB5 (mosfet high battery charger) in short, voltaje in +12.6V_BATT was 19 v ...

I changed it, changed PQB6 too and now battery charger voltage is 4.4V but battery is 3 cell, 11.25v, then is very low to charging.

Laptop turns on without battery and works fine, but with battery turns on and turns off inmediately, I suspect battery bad but I don't know...

Cyberpower 1285AVR (CP1285AVRLCD) reporting wrong battery voltage?
          by Sean Devine
UPS turned off one night and it seemed that the 3 year old batteries gave out.

Replaced with a new pair, but the UPS software claimed the battery voltage was only 18 volts and needed to charge. After 24 hours, the UPS claimed only 60% charge and 20 volts (although FWIW, my meter sees 27v).

...then I found various Cyberpower threads here with some guidance on what to check.

          C1 (22uF) tested at 2, so I replaced that.

Put it all back together and didn't see a change on the reported battery voltage. Although, I did run the quick battery diagnostic...

iPad Air A1475 Boot loops after replacing battery
          by trepachka
This iPad was working fine except the battery was not holding charge for more than 40 minutes. I replaced it with a new battery. I haven't glued the battery yet, just inserted it into the slot and held it with battery screw.

The iPad was powered on with the new battery and I am getting white screen with Apple logo for about 10 seconds, then the screen turns dark. It then cycles like this forever.

I know the battery is working because the iPad continues to boot loop without the charger until it depletes to 0% and the message displays I need to plug in the charger.
