Help….Saving my bacon(BUT). Broke wireless switch on someone else’s laptop.

    Morning everyone!

Yesterday sure wasn't my day for working on computers, here's hoping for a better day today.

In an attempt to make some extra cash cleaning the fans/heatsyncs on a Sony Vaio laptop I seemed to have broke the wireless switch, mounted on main board, during reassembly of customers laptop. First thought was to remove switch and bypass as I have done in the past. During removal of said broken switch I got in a hurry and managed to lift pad #2 along with the switch (Doh!....it was Friday evening and I got in a hurry).

I have tried everything I can think of to get this wireless card to fire up but it's just not working. I'm far from being seasoned at reading schematics so I'm hoping that guy that's smarter than me (meaning most of you reading this) might be reading this post this morning and can offer advice of what should work for jumpering to get it fired up or other solutions? Also wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase these switches?

Looking at the attached schematic, page 26, SW4 shows the broken switch. None of the capacitors are labeled on the board and I'm just not sure how to determine where the line goes to. I have jumpered from ground to pin 100 of U4A (Pg22) and that didn't seem to work. I have also jumpered Pin20 of CN12 (pg26) and still no dice. ANY thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I can post pics of mainboard (my screw-up) if it helps any.

    Sony Vaio Laptop
    PCG-3J1L
    Main Board: MBX-189

(I have been replacing motherboard caps for the last 10 years so I do have a little experience in this area, just not the greatest with reading schematics)

    I got er fixed!

Found enough of the trace from lifted pad to solder onto and everything's working. It's Saturday afternoon and time to enjoy a cold one.
