    HP DV9000 DV9500 DV9600 DV9700 series motherboard compatibility?

Hi, I have two dead HP laptops, one with an AMD CPU called DV9740 & another with an Intel CPU called DV9686
What they share in common is a GPU made by nVidia, of course failing...
I had already written the former system off, but now looking on eBay I found for example: 447984-001

It is a motherboard with integrated Intel graphics that seems to fit (Both the DV9740 & DV9686 share port layout)

Has anyone done a mod like this?
The downside I can see is that the 447984-001 motherboard lacks HDMI, does any mobo that fits these system offer HDMI via Intel graphics?
I guess nobody released any DV9xxx systems with AMD Radeon graphics?

i have modded dv6 before with different board...port layout was same however heatsinks changed and watch where the ram slots end up , done a modd to a dell inspirion 1545 before as well again had to change heatsinks, as long as ram banks and plugs are same and port layouts are same you should be fine you may need to change heatsinks however....

Thanks, I looked but could not find any with AMD Radeon discrete graphics.
So I guess Intel integrated is the only way to go. (Maybe AMD integrated graphics exists too?)
Soon I'll have 3 of these in my possession, would be nice to fix them
Would be interesting to mod a mobo that has the nVidia GPU to bypass it and use the integrated Intel graphics instead.
