This job which came in is a Gigabyte B650M D3HP AX (rev. 1.0). It has BIOS version F1 currently, and the CPU installed is Ryzen 9 9900X, which according to the Gigaybte site, needs at least BIOS version F30. I don't have a supported CPU to install for the purpose of updating the BIOS. I have downloaded the BIOS from Gigabyte's website and unzipped the file "B650MD3HPAX.F32a". Can I just rename it to 'B650MD3HPAX.BIN' and flash it to the motherboard using neoprogrammer and my CH341A?

by BlackBeetleHello, I own a pre-built PC from Hyrican and would like to update the BIOS. Unfortunately, the Q-Flash function (F8) is not available within the BIOS interface. While the function is listed under the F1 Help menu, the F8 shortcut itself has been removed from Hyrican's proprietary BIOS implementation. The motherboard is an H310M H Rev. 1.0.
I was able to retrieve the following information regarding the motherboard:
SMBIOSVersion: 106 YG (2018)
Manufacturer: American Megatrends Inc.
Name: 106 YG
SerialNumber: P10636500001
Version: HYRSLP - 1072009... -

by cr4zychrissHello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
