    Mosfet Equivalent (AO4466 and AO4712)

    Hello Badcaps Community,

    Need to find an equivalent to AO4466 and AO4712. Digikey doesn't have any in stock, and I am not sure what specs are important to match when choosing a replacement part.

    FYI: AO4466 is PQ29 and AO4712 is PQ30 from a L500D Toshiba laptop mobo. AO4466 is the only bad FET but AO4712 was damaged during removal for testing

    If you want the real thing and not an equivalent, both of the above are available on ebay from the same seller so you might be able to combine shipping costs.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

      If I must i will buy them, however, as I assume you know, shipping from hong kong takes ages to arrive in Canada. Looking for a US/Canadian supplier so I can get the parts somtime this month :P

        I find the USA and Hong Kong shipments arrive in about 2 to 4 weeks depending on Canada Customs. The fastest shipping from Hong Kong that I have received is about 11 days.

        Good luck finding anyone in Canada.

          Update for others with Toshiba mobo issues. I ordered the mosfets from china and finally got around to installing them. Install did not exactly go to plan as surface mount components are a pain. However, after getting the chips on and removing any solder bridges from the source/gate/drain the system powered on and has been working now for weeks. Saves a nice little laptop from being scraped
