    Lenovo Y700-17ISK mosfet to replace

HI, I have a Lenovo Y700-17ISK laptop (motherboard BY511 NM-A541) which does not start anymore.

I found the fault, it is a power input mosfet 6414A which is in continuity, it is part of the two fuses powered by the BQ24 manager.

I found a PKCH2BB mosfet in stock to replace it. is it not dangerous to put one with much more amperage for this use?

    6414A N-CHANNEL 30V 30A
    PKCH2BB N-CHANNEL 30V 228A

I am not an expert, your help is precious, thank you.

No, the part you have selected (PKCH2BB) is able to support higher peak currents than the original. This higher grade part is not necessary but will function fine as a replacement.

Ok thanks, I had replaced it with TPCA8065-H, but it only lasted a week, is it a poor quality mosfet?. TPCA8065-H 30V N-chanel 16A

For the moment with the PKCH2BB that works, hope that it will last more than a week.
