I have no green light on charger, but I do have pp3v42_g3h on L7095. What's the best way to trace downstream on the schematic? I'm trying to get better at reading/tracing on schematics but I'm not very good.

See the case study here:

With care, measure the voltage to ground of PPBUS_G3H. -

Troubleshooting is pretty much identical to that of a A1466 Macbook Air as its basically the same design. So use this power sequence:
https://logi.wiki/index.php/G3_to_S3..._and_Broadwell
Check U5110, SMC etc.Comment

I re-flowed the SMC and it started working, so hey! Thanks everyone, especially for that link!Comment

by xalapamacHello, greetings everyone. I NEED YOUR HELP
I got this macbook that doesn't turn on, I don´t have a green light, but it's got a fan spin for a few minutes and after it's off.
This macbook comes in without damage from liquid spill.
The story of the Mac is that the screen closes and left without use for two days. Then they try to turn on and it won't turn on. Then they connect the charger and it doesn't give light.
It´s a Macbook Air 2017
Please help me understand how this works... Correct me if I'm wrong in my way of... -
by gbunivaHi everyone, I want to share my tech experience with a MacBook Pro A1502 late 2013 that won´t turn on.
The computer arrived dead, when connected to Magsafe no lights on the connector.
Here some Measures at some testpoints on de LB 820-3476-A :
PP3V42_G3H 1.7V
PPBUS_G3H = 0V
PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_RE = 0V
PP3V3_S5 = 0V
PP5V_S4 = 0V
P5V1_SW = 5.5V
PP3V3_S0SW_SSD =0V
PP3V3_S0SW_SSD_FET =0V
PPDCIN_G3H_INRUSH = 16.10V
PPDCIN_G3H_CHGR = 16.10V
PP5V_S5 - 0v
PP3V3_S5 - 0v
PP3V3_SUS - 0V

Hello again,
got an MacBook Pro from 2015, model A1502 and motherboard version 820-3476-A.
Device died over night on charger.
Currently I did the follow things:
1. Checked visuell the board, test with another MagSafe-Charger and with another DC-IN-board too
2. Measured 16,5V on PP18V5_DCIN_FUSE but 0V on ADAPTER_SENSE and 0V on PP_3V42_G3H and 0V on PPBUS_G3H but 16,5V goes to U7090
3. Because of corrosion and bad resistor values I changed these components: U7090 / C7094 / C7095 / R7095 / R7096 / L7095 / C7099 -> But further... -
by AlexVGGood evening.
I replaced SMC on Macbook A1502.
I have had SMC from A1466 only. It's the same but obviously has different program.
Is it enough to clean SPI with
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-bios?t=100913
and change SN?
Thank you. -
