Could it be possible that the ISL95522 chip is the problem? Should I order a replacement?

Or could the problem be with the PUB02 I replaced at first to get the unit switching on again?

Re: Charging Issue on Dell G3 3579 (LA-F611P)

Hello All, i have two units of this exact Dell G3 [LA-F611P] model with charging issue very similar to each other.

        Motherboard 1
        PU01 and PUB02 got burnt

        Motherboard 2
        PU01, PUB02, PUB01 and UE1 [Pin 128] got burnt.

I have replaced all components affected that I am aware of on both motherboards BUT immediately I connect the charger, PU01 and PUB02 burns again on both motherboard, but PUB01 and UE1 still looks intact.

Please, I want to ask if anyone here is familiar with what might still be faulty that I may have not noticed.

Did you replaced all the mosfets along with charging IC? If no a big mistake. Resistance to GND measurements on pin 5 of PU01?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

No, i didn't replace the MOSFETs but i tried checking for shorts on them [S, G, D] using diode mode on my meter though.

Resistance to GND on pin 5 of PU01 = 38.8K Ohms [with PU01 Absent]
