Hello. Brought a laptop ACER_Aspire_E5-571G with the stated malfunction does not turn on. We decided to clean the laptop ourselves, and after that the laptop does not turn on. Rather, the LED lights up for a few seconds and turns off. There are standby voltages, the bios was flashed with several firmware, the power button is relayed to the hub, but I found such a moment. The resistance on the foot is 100 multa PCH_RSMRST# 30ohm, when the power supply is connected, the voltage does not rise, 0.34 V appears when the button is pressed. When the 100 leg is raised, the resistance on the contact pad PCH_RSMRST# also remains 30 ohms, and 3.3 V appears on the foot of the multicontroller after pressing the power button. Diode d25, r117 is fine. Also, for some reason, 0.25V is present on the pl1002 throttle, there is no consumption on the lbp. There are no resolving signals to the pu1001 chip. Now with regard to the resistance of the 100 leg, and the understated resistance. Does this indicate a malfunction of the hub part of the combine, or did I miss something?

by cind12Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms... -
by Nagy DanielHi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.
I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.
I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.
So, I generated a table with AI so I can... -
by JaneI have Asus FA506 ( board DA0BKXMB8D0 Rev: D). Can you please roughly indicate what the lowest resistance I should measure on a coil? I know that a low resistance is allowed on coils in CPU or graphic circuits but can you provide acceptable values of resistance?
Thank you. -
by loopsterHello everyone, I have a 645 G9 here with a Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U.
This board has a blown inductor component above the driver chip to the CPU coil, and I am wondering whether the CPU is shorted/dead.
Could anyone please measure the resistance to ground on the leftmost coil/inductor to the CPU?
My resistance value is 2.2 Ohms, which doesn't look good to me.
Thanks to everyone willing to give a value. -
by CG2OK, this is a long shot. I got this sewing machine cheap because it's end of line, ex-display, and had no pedal. The genuine pedal costs £60, while Ebay knock-offs go for around £15. So I went for the knock-off, it doesn't work, and I'm not sure whether it's the pedal or the sewing machine that has the problem.
Now this is an electronic machine, unlike the old fashioned sort where the pedal was a big resistor in series with the power to the motor. Here, the pedal is just (I think) a variable resistor fed with a 5 volt supply, and limited to a current of 5 milliamps. Assuming that... - Loading...
