    A1708 820-00840-A with a broken SSD holder

    Hi All,

    the SSD carrage had split along the logic board thickness, i could bond it together but what adhesive would work?

    or has anyone done a replacement from a doner board? and can imbibe some wisdom please

      When I assembled dreamcast I mistakenly fastened long bolt and It resulted in
      cutting tiny trace.
      This tiny trace(Total width of white coating is 5.5mm) is between R337,R343 and IC101 and it is covered with white coating in the below screenshot.


      Firstly I tried to bridging tiny broken trace with my own eyes...But it is totally impossible..So a week ago, I ordered G1200 Digital Microscope and I magnified this tiny broken trace with it.

      But It seems that It is really very tiny trace So I plan to order 0.1mm coper wire from aliexpress in order to bridging...

      Synology DS415+ Cr1220 holder problem

      I bought a Synology DS415+ online non working and when I plugged a new power supply in and held the power button for a few seconds the machine began booting up.
      After a few minutes later the blue light is still flashing, so I shut it down and opened it up to get to the motherboard as I was going to do the solder fix for the bios clock, but I quickly realised it had already been done (poorly) but even worse was when I realised the bios cr1220 battery and holder was not on the motherboard and wasn’t in the case.

      I have attached 6 pictures, picture 1 & 2 is of new motherboard...

      Hello guys! I need a little help, I have one laptop for repair, it is an Aorus 17G YD, gaming laptop. Broken display, some cable ripped form daughter board connector, case broken, battery discharged and probably locked, etc. After I did the most tedious job I ever did on soldering back the broken cables (shielded cable) , I measured resistance on CPU and GPU core, 3 and 5 v ps and any coils I find on the board, everything seems to be fine.       Hello, I have a Fujifilm hybrid camera with an issue : the time don't run. I set 12:00 and 3 min later, the same : 12:00
      I saw an obvious root cause : a broken quartz (resonator). But with the box broken, I can't read the marking code. Probably : 464… or A64…
      I found on the web a picture of the same camera board but with marking code very different. Probably : A7…5N
      I'm searching another one for compare…
      Do you have an idea or another way for find the frequency of this resonator please ?
