    Huawei Magicbook m/b DAH98AMBAD0, dead

    Just arrived a Magicbook with m/b DAH98AMBAD0 completely dead, power LED stay OFF.
    Checking with thermal camera I see a chip labeled 4GA "pulsating".
    4GA code point me to "FT521GAb"="LDO, Dual out, Vout1/Vout2=2.8V/1.2V±2%, 250mA, +CE"
    Maybe something is shorting it ?
    What can I check ?

      what is the voltages of the pins, after check the resistance of eveery pin

          Voltages of nearby components fluctuate when fed from the original power supply.
          I've also tried another power supply...same behavior.
          This morning I've injected up to 4.5V (starting at 1V@1A) on the main power rail (this laptop is powered by a USB Type-C) and starting from 4V this chip immediately overheats on the thermal imager.
          So I've removed this "4GA" part and I'm looking for the datasheet to find a replacement
          Note: The voltages do not fluctuate with the bench power supply.

                          My board is HUAWEI Matebook D15 Laptop - Mod: BOB-WAH9 - Motherboard: DAH98MMB8D0 REV D , but I think that is the same IC

                          The last letter 4GA -> 4G"D" is date packaging

                                  Hi, I just come to this laptop with symptoms from owner - it stop charging. Thought it would be easy USB-C replacement (matebooks known issue) I took it. But port is good. After charging battery from power supply laptop is still dead. No power to EC chip. I'm out of ideas what to check next.

                                  Next to 3.3V LDO which is only active rail after main rail is a circuit which sends voltage to EC chip. I don't understand at all function of this circuit. It consist of 2 PNP transistors few resistors and P-channel mosfet. Below is a circuit diagram of that part with explanation. Does anybody...

                                  A customer just brought in an Honor MagicBook X 16 mod. BRN-F56, motherboard P/N Fermi_MB NB6269A_MB_V4, not working (no power LED, no charging LED, nothing)
                                  He said he had been using an aftermarket power supply for a while, but noticed that it suddenly stopped charging and when the battery was completely dead the laptop would not turn on, even with the original (working) power supply.

                                  Hello, I received to repair this Huawei laptop (model in the title).
                                  The laptop will charge the battery fine throught the USB C port, but it wont turn on. The charging led will blink fast and repeatedly when trying to turn it on.

                                  I've attached photos of the board. (the wires are for briging the power button, I did not inject voltage)

                                  Upon visual inspection, a couple of ICs were blown. Along the 5V line leading to one of the USB A ports. They wasnt fully shorted but just a couple of ohms to ground.

                                  Hello I just bought this laptop to be used personally (that I'm currently trying to repair.), I am aware that liquid (gravy) has been spilled in this area before. but there are missing components it it possible to have a board view or a schematic of this? or just an idea on what components its missing?

                                  as far as I know this parts are connected as sense or enable.... that's how far I know...
