Re: DMHC DC Motor Controller for Electric Quad
Yep, agreed, imagine if you took my advice from my post a week ago todayno offense intended, but sometimes these things take a boatload of damage when reverse connected. Would be nice if all electronics had protection or designed for accidental reversal, but it would increase price a lot.

Re: DMHC DC Motor Controller for Electric Quad
Hopefully the controller that you are buying is very well marked so this mistake will not happen again but if you find that it not marked very well please take the time to mark the wire leads correctly and easily seen to lower the risk of hooking it wrong ( or all the wires are the same exact color which is also a nightmare to deal with I would use different color heat sink tubing for the battery connectors preferably red and black )
I have had to do this myself quite a few times because the device was not marked correctly or was not marked at all
I have even seen circuit boards with no ledger on it at and you had trace the circuit to know how to connect it up correctly this can be a nightmare to doLast edited by sam_sam_sam; 11-25-2021, 01:22 AM.Comment

by AstonishedHi friends of electronics
What you see in the video and pictures attached is the circuit for charging the batteries of a DC motor.
The problem is that this circuit cannot charge the batteries (3 1800mAH NiMH batteries) any more. When the circuit was OK, its green LEDs lit up one at a time to show that the batteries have charged more. But now that the circuit is flawed, LEDs light up as you see in the video and at the same time successive beeps are heard.
Please help me fix this circuit.

by carrzkissHello, all.
Cyberpower Battery Backup Unit.
I bought two new ML18-12 batteries through Amazon (They have already refunded my money for the two batteries as we thought the batteries might have been bad.)
When I got them in, they were not fully charged. I connected them to the UPS and waited 24 hours before connecting any networking equipment.
In parallel, they read 24v, but within 24 hours, the meter on the front of the unit dropped from 4 to 3 bars on the battery charge indicator.
Checking the voltage, it was down to 22v.
I quickly removed everything... -
by SolomonManAll,
Yesterday in the morning the fan was fine. Its approximately 10 years old. Its one of those high Velocity types.
In the afternoon I noticed it was not running any longer.
During the investigation, I confirmed the wiring, confirmed the 3 way switch is fine, the Capacitor measures the correct Microfarads. So I went to the Motor;
No smell of burnt and it spins very easily. I started to measured the continuity between the 6 wires.
I have included a diagram from a YouTube video I found but basically the wiring is identical. The only exception... -
by cjardHoping someone here will be able to provide a few pointers with this. I've got a motor controller board for a device that moves a caravan. A DC motor on each wheel is supplied with 12v DC or -12V DC depending on whether the remote control is pushed in "forward" or "backward" mode. The control is arranged by having 2 relays per motor that, at rest, are all connected to the negative.. If the motor is to go forwards, then relay 1 activates meaning the motor sees "positive negative" on its terminals 1 and 2. If the motor is to go backwards then relay 2 activates meaning...

by master3112I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)
When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on... - Loading...
