PS4 HDMI repair: Missing part value and where to order?
Re: PS4 HDMI repair: Missing part value and where to order?
Sorry about it being small R_J and thank you so much diif....I wasn't sure if the DJ was a marking or value. I thought maybe Sony was trying to keep it a secret.
Where i work, we have all kinds of SMT parts...we have 2 huge SMT ovens and 1 selective solder oven.
but, the quarantine and all, i will finally be returning to work on 4/20 YAY!
I will let y'all know if it's the right part/value,
Again, thanks!
Re: PS4 HDMI repair: Missing part value and where to order?
Looks like diff could be correct, DJ = BZX384-C24 24v zener diode
It could be something else, the D has a line above it. I believe it is for protection so it could be anything above 5v

This is also a helpful forum https://www.facebook.com/groups/ps4repair101/
i am also sure if JLJames5880 sees this post he will be able too advise as hes also a member on the facebook forum i linked
A 5.6V Zener seems to make sense but the marking has me unsure. I have not been able to find a suitable diode with the (bar)DJ marking in my searching.

The C24 is marked with DJ but the SOD323 package is almost twice the length and width of the diode labeled 15. It could be an SOD-923 If my estimate is close it is around 1mm long, 0.5mm wide.
Re: PS4 HDMI repair: Missing part value and where to order?
Hate to revive a dead threa but any idea what number 16 and the one just below it are?
They look to be the same. Would I be correct in thinking these are resistors?

Hey guys..I have an EDM-020 and I'm missing these standby voltages marked with blue...I have already replaced the HDMI encoder IC but is still the same I have all the rest of 3v and 5v ...where does this voltage comes from does, anybody knows.
Odd one I've found. This splitter likes to cut out - on my Xbox Series S the display/audio would randomly go to black for a few seconds - on my PC the monitor would flicker several times before eventually staying on. A few others have reported similar issues. Couldn't be bothered returning it for the sake of £8.
I pulled it apart and found it is driven by a Texas TS3DV642 mux/demux. There appears to be a missing pulldown resistor on the HPD line, it is just left floating. Adding a 100K pulldown to ground fixes the flickering.
Hello, First of all thanks you for reading this topic.
I need your help with identify missing parts on trackpad logic board (661-18430).
The liquid got into the orange area, but I found that the green area had some parts missing or burnt.
Please help me with identity parts from blue and red area .
Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...
