    Window Controller for BMW 335i

Hi. Hope this fits in here....

So I have a module here that burned a bit. See Photos. Top, Bottom, and some close-up. Ignore the black lines on the last few photos, lens got damaged.

I need to figure out what goes where. Can't seem to find a diagram/schematic or any reference image of good quality.

Anyone here worked on something like this or have one laying around? :P (long shot)

    Much Appreciated

too much work, find another online.

you need to grind out all the burned carbon and then rebuild.
positive thing is it didnt damage the area for the buttons,
negative thing, i suspect a part is completely missing.

you you check the remaining diode & ceramic caps for shorts?

Thanks guys you both are so helpful!

@SMDFlea thanks that would at least give me an idea of the pinouts.

@stj Yeah it is I agree, but id give it a shot in anycase. The traces & pcb is pretty much toast as you can see. I think there maybe something missing as well but it also seems to not be the case.

It seems like it may have been a spillage... Those traces there are mainly ground. The only one not ground is coming from the Diode. No shorts on anything.

could have been a loom short or maybe a stalled motor then.
loom damage is common in cars these days.

Interesting point. I saw the car today... Made me say that uhm no thanks I'm not spending anymore time on that module... The owner clearly doesn't care about his car... Its sad. Anyways so I moved on not doing any more work on this.

EDIT: To add, before my decision I did check the connector in the car and the 2 pins that run side by side with the bridged cap is 12V and GND.

you should have checked the cables where they pass from the pilars into the doors for rubbing - the tubing they hide in does not always help.

also, connectors should never rest in the bottom of the door, but be clipped up - the bottom of the door is a drainage channel for rain.

Yeah I agree. For checking the cables I didn't want to interfere with the "job"... I only received the module and had a look at that and that's pretty much it. As I said once I saw the car I felt declined to do more in any case.

If it was my personal "job"/"client" I would have done the above with extra charge for sure to help with motivation but yeah anyways.

                  I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)

When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on...

                  Asus FX507ZC4 DANJLFMBAB0 REV B I need photos
                  by saimom
                  Hello everyone!

Please help me determine which microcontroller was in this place.
Logically, I guess that this is a ddr4 PWM memory controller and some kind of Richtek, but which one?
Thise motherboard came after another service, where they say that water got on the controller and it burned down and they dismantled it.
They did not take photos before the intervention

The DANJLFMBAB0 REV B board, schematics, boards and photos of the motherboard were not found on the network, but I may have searched badly-((
Maybe someone has a photo of this piece,...

Need help to replace burned resistor in 350w atx psu
                  by mikey5791
                  Hi to all forum members,

Got this faulty 350 watt atx psu dirt cheap from a local online seller as i am keen to use it as a learning tool to repair faulty power supply.
The faulty part is quite obvious from the burn area near the 16pin KA7500 BD pwm. The fuse is still intact with good continuity.

Upon power on ac, there is 5vdc standby power on cathode of diode D14 and about 10vdc on cathode of diode D13.(This should be the aux power to generate the 12v and 5v rail.)
Initially i replace the two burned resistors near my marked red arrow to 200 ohm resistor...

Help with freemotion incline trainer with controller comm error
                  by ronnygracias
The treadmill was working fine, one day the belt snapped and after checking the unit I also noticed that the display is now showing the Controller comm error. So I opened it up and the treadmill had two boards. One is a power supply board and the other is the motor controller. I noticed there was a mouse nest, so I took power supply board out, cleaned it up, replaced the big capacitor and that did nothing. Then I took apart the motor controller and cleaned that up, and when I plugged it in, it started right up. I thought I fixed it. But when the belt arrived, I installed it and tried to power...

Tankless hot water heater controller board not powering up when power is applied
                  by sam_sam_sam
I recently bought a used tankless hot water heater and the controller board is completely dead no power up when power is applied the display board works however the main controller board does not work correctly at all the fuse is good

I bought a used replacement controller board that also had issues that I was able to fix and now the tankless water heater works correctly now

However I would like to know if I could figure what happened to this controller board if possible

Tomorrow I will take some better pictures of both side of both boards
