Hello, small ps3 when powered up will shut down and there will be no red lights, if i unplug it and plug again it will do the same, you will see the fan running and everything will go off , please help

Can you post the model number of the PS3? It should start with CUH-****. or SCPH-****.
I think you mean the PS3 Slim based on the description. I would highly suspect it's a board issue, not the power supply. I've rarely seen bad power supplies in the consoles i've worked on. Most PS3 failures are Red Light of Death, or Green Light of Death issues. Those can be fixed temporarily, but you're better off just getting a used one off of Craigslist.

I recently received an XR-77A80J that wouldn't turn on. (Repeating 5 flashes when plugged in.)
I did a hard reset by holding the power button for about 30 seconds until the set powered down. I then tried to turn it on and it powered up, bringing me to the setup screen. There's not a lot of detail on the setup screen but the picture didn't have any distortions, so at least a cursory examination suggests no physical damage to the screen. I have a problem with my laptop. I just short circuit the eDP cable by an accident. Then i try to open it. i press the power button it was powered the rgb keyboard but after a few seconds and it just shut down. Set was manufactured in 2012. I'm trying to diagnose where the problem is. I am assuming it is over-currenting after heating up? Display looks fine until it decides to shutdown. If I keep turning it on, it will eventually refuse to power up and requires unplugging to get it to respond again.
I originally thought there would be some easily detected bad electrolytic capacitors, but I don't see the telltale signs. There might be some very minimal bulging on one of the x buffer board. BN96-22092A (LJ92-01852A).

A) TV initially dead
B) On a hunch of a locked up Google OS, plugged in a USB memory stick with latest FW and plugged it in. It booted into the update screen, completed the update and restarted to Home screen.
C) Was able to perform a Reset from Settings menu and completed out of box configuration.
D) Ran a 4K screen saver demo for about 6 hours, then turned it off for the day. Did not notice any stripes, dead zones or other artifacts in the image.

I usually let it go to sleep every time I use it because it is nearly always plugged in, with occasional shutdowns to reset things. Then it started to hard crash every time it tried to come out of sleep.
