    ICOM IC-M423G(E)

    Hi all,

Not sure if this qualifies as a weird device. I am simply looking for a firmware/EEPROM dump of an ICOM marine VHF transceiver. Mine is MMSI programmed and I'm trying decode and identify bits to clear/change the MMSI.

probably easier to look for CS-M92D Programming Software .
i dont know what the cables have in them though.

Thanks! It's actually managed by the CS-424A software which I have obtained. I am waiting for the cables (OPC-484) to arrive which is two months away.

Found the pin-out and managed to reprogram it using their proprietary software. I also made EEPROM dump prior and after the MMSI removal so I have the delta on what bits to change if anyone is interested.

IR to USB transceiver for HDMI video adapter
            by Uranium-235
Ok, so for a customer of mine, he got a wonderfully built NVR from SCW. I also had to get him this

            https://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Extender.../dp/B08778V33N

I used the remote on the NVR totally and it's horrible. Totally non-intuitive. I would rather have him use a pointer mouse.

but that has kind of sailed the ship

Is there any ways I can just funnel a USB signal through IR pass on the receiver, and hook the other side (transceiver and hook it to the other transmitter) and convert that to a USB signal for the USB port...

            Icom PS-15 power supply
            by alberto79
            Hi!
I have an old (but good) Icom PS-15 power supply.
This PSU was modified by a technical and now the original control circuit is no longer there.
I want to make the original circuit because the modified circuit don't work fine.

The original circuit use an old components and i need help to find (if possible) equivalent (but modern) components.

The first components is U05, rectifier/filter.
The second is XZ-051, reference voltage.

            Thank you for help.

            Jecod DCS3000 marine 24v pump
            by 24mech
Hi everyone, I know this may be a long shot, I'm looking for some help with the 24 volt power supply for my marine return water pump. the issue I have is the controller thinks the pump has a blockage so it wont power up the pump, what I'm hoping I can do is fool the power supply into thinking the pump is ready to run, I can't find any info on repairing this controller online, can anyone help?

So this came into the workshop recently for repair, sadly as per the norm I don't have pics of the current state of the ongoing repair, if I remember to when next working on this I might take some only due to the wide extent of the damage. Customer report not working no transmit no audio, bench report no audio (speaker disconnected ?) transmit sometimes, receive mostly but anything up-to 500kc off frequency random.

Further findings were either full output power and or little to no output power, VFO unit PB-2445 not setting up as per service manual specifications. I had a source...
