    Craftsman 82345 Multimeter broke!

My daily carry just stopped working only me. Started last week with the voltage flickering. Found one lead was broken and I ordered new ones. New leads didn't change anything, it displays “-1” on all settings but on continuity will give the tone when touching. Checked battery and found the fuse blown. Replaced fuse but same results. Cleaned the dial and led display and its parts. Board looks nice and clean no burned or broken components. Nothing traumatic happened to this multimeter I put it aside when I found the lead broken and didn't touch it until I got the neAnyone have any ideas what's going on with this Craftsman 82345 multimeter?

My two Aneng multimeters were not working recently. One of them was only 2-month new. I know the feeling.

Since you said the fuse was blown and replaced, are there any other components got burned too? e.g. U3, U4, Q2, and the components around there, etc.
