Smd Capacitor lost in PS4 Fat CUH 1215a - Hdmi Line

    Good morning team
I turn to you for help. A client brought me a Ps4 fat model CUH1215a.
    Motherboard model: SAC 00-1 1-980-066-31.

Diagnosis: The customer mentioned that the PS4 fell on the floor while his children were playing.
It turns on but does not give an image.
Power Supply: Ok -5 and 12 v line
The HDMI connector and its solders were checked. Everything ok.
Visual inspection of the motherboard shows the existence of a capacitor? absent in this part of the mother

My question is, will anyone have a schematic or a similar plate to check the nominal value of the capacitor that blew up.
The capacitors that are close to this have a value of 315 uf. This is for reference only.
    Thanks for your help..

I would spend a little time searching for around 20uf +- 20%. You can use a 1206 size if you have.
Check on some donor boards or Caps from other scrap electronics..
Not sure how the chip on the PS4 will react if you put on a 40uf. It might work, for a while, but I wouldn't do it. If it's a customer's PS4, you only risk getting it in return with potentially bigger damages.

This is unrelated but might help you make a decision.

I had small cap missing on ps5 HDMI port. So i installed the smallest one i had but clearly bigger then it supose to be. unfortunately bigger cap affected display, i was getting blue snow dots and ps5 was displaying only in low resolution. i had to remove that cap. ps5 worked flawlessly without it.

Sometimes bigger caps maks no difference, but sometimes it can backfire. the one needs to know the reason for that part.

            Ok, Thanx for all.
I still can't get the right capacitor-
I'll keep looking at some other mothers..

You don't NEED that cap. It's just a filter, but I've gone without it when I started working on ps5 and didn't have access to them.. So if you lose it, not a big deal.
