Correct, I did replace the BQ.

It would be nice to no the complete circuit for charging to help isolate the issue.

what about the 3.3 volt regulator located above the audio IC, any shorts on this rail as its fed from the BQ chip and supply's power to the m92/P13 and wifi/bluetooth module ?

Nintendo Switch-No Shorts and not charging

This is a strange one for me. I have a Nintendo switch that turned on initially. The BQ chip was getting very hot. I unplugged and tried a different battery in case there was a problem with them one that came with it. I was told that the battery had been swapped.

After trying a new battery, the unit would not turn on.
Ammeter shows 15v 0 amp draw.
Tested around BG, P13 and M92. No shorts. Decided to swap out BG. Same result.
Checked voltages around BG, M92 and Max 177050.
    Also checked Max 177621.
Getting desperate, I changed M92. Nothing
I changed both Max chips, nothing

Unit is not in RCM mode.

I also took a working board and started checking values all over the board in diode mode and could not see any discrepancies.

I am at a loss with this one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
