Howdy,
The short, I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard I picked up on the ebay to see if I could fix. I have some i7-3770 CPU's (all are good) and popped some DDR3 1333 memory in and get the dreaded F4 code along with the 55 code. Upon powering up, just keeps attempting to start, fan runs then restarts in a seemingly never ending loop. Cleared the CMOS multiple times, no effect. So, would like to try my new Christmas present to myself, a XGecu T48 (TL866-3G) Programmer to reprogram the IC. I assume this is a fairly popular board and hopefully someone will post the full .bin file.
The long, I started repairing electronics as a hobby around 10 years ago and this site is one of the first that I cam to to read about failing capacitors, thank you to the host. Anyway, have repaired a lot of radios, hifi gear, test gear, etc and now have evolved to motherboard troubleshooting/repair. Have watched a bunch of vids from "Learn Electronics Repair" channel and learned a ton. He has done quite a few repairs via BIOS IC reprogramming so I am attempting to stick my toe in that repair realm.
Evidently, one cannot just download a complete BIOS .bin file from the manufacturer, that would be too easy
. So, I am humbly requesting a copy of said file so I can have a project for Christmas. I ordered a few IC's (W25Q64FVAIQ) from the interweb is case mine is bonkers and a XGecu T48 Programmer from the Amazon.
Thanks and look forward to the input!
