Re: lenovo m715q am4ih ver : 1.0
You're Welcome. It's an AMD Platform and there's no ME Region, so it's supposed to be a normal thing. Also it could be fan failure or a hardware issue I don't know.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, I also have the black screen / fan high / no boot issue after a failed BIOS update.
I've dumped both the EC and BIOS (see attached file) and also tried to update the thinkcentres externally (via USB).
Also tried flashing the BIOS chip directly, sadly without any change.
I'd be happy if someone could verify these dumps and tell me how I may proceed because I suspect that the EC firmware update failed as flashing the BIOS chip doesn't help and I can't find any information about flashing the EC.
Model: M715q - 10M2
Serial: PC0NHQUJ
Thank you very much in advanceAttached FilesComment

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by claws77my laptop is lenovo flex 5 14ITL05
recently my power supply for this laptop developed a fault.
which caused a short in my usb c port -- verified with a new charger.
rant: so, i went to the repair tech in my country, he asked for a huge repair cost when i decided to get it done someplace else this "great person" nicked my bios chip, asked me to be aware for repair scams lol.
I was stupid and unable to find the flaw at the moment. Another repair tech told me that my bios chip was stolen and an 8mb bios chip is in place of that. he told me that a 32... -
by darknwoHi, can someone help me please with the removal of the bios password of this dump.
Someone desoldered the bios chip, tried several "methods" but with no luck, and he gave me the dump to try to search some help.
For now he deleted more things and bios password is gone but laptop doesn't show serial, model etc.
Also, I updated bios to latest version, when he will write the dump again without password, it should be better to put back the old version that was orignally or doesn't matter? Because from what I've read this laptop has 3 bios chips, don't know if has...-

by traxformaniaHello,
I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :

by glovecapsHello,
I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.
The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this... - Loading...
