Imac 2020 a2115 no image after reblays T2 Security chip
        by mich6el
Hello! Has anyone encountered problems on the Imac 2020 27 inches with a T2 chip? I had to replace 2 T2 chips on two iMacs, the first one was successfully replaced, tested and given to the client. The second iMac after replacing the T2 is flashed, the system is installed through the target mod, it boots into the system, you can hear me tapping on the keyboard, but the image does not display (and to an external monitor). I reballed the T2 chip, changed the processor, RAM, display. No positive result! My friend said that he had 2 such devices and on both of them, after replacing the T2 boards,...

        iMac 27” 2020 Boot issue
        by Stephen
Customer came in for data recovery, came to find out data is soldered on to this iMac (learn something new everyday) this is a 2020 T2 iMac so I was surprised because the iMac Pro has a T2 chip and it isn’t soldered on. Anyways, the iMac boots to Apple logo and then restarts, before it turns off you hear a quarter fan spin then it repeats itself. I decided to do a DFU revive to restore any hardware firmware issues and it was successful in reviving the device however the issue persists in boot looping. It shows the Apple logo for like 40 seconds then turns off and fan spin rinse repeat. I...

But with that file in my current iMac always restarting after several minutes of operation.
And also i already tried several method to clean the me region of this file, but always end up with file system state "error" at ME Analyzer.

        A2115 - 820-01779-3 (2020)
        by applejuice95
Hi there, I currently have similar board with same problem. A2115 - 820-01779-3 (2020). New to Soldering and board diag.. We've located many shorted Caps using voltage injection and thermal.. This board is reading open circuit on Caps C7261-C7250 along with any other components on the PP12V_G3H_CPUCORE rail.. I however get no glowing component on the front or rear of the board.. Each of these Caps reads less than a V or Resistance when measuring directly across each one, and also beeps to ground on both sides on all of them.. This should be shorted correct? Is 1V-1.5V / 2A-5A injection to locate...

        Request for A2115 iMAC 2020 5K schematics
        by mon2
Hi. Have a request for schematics / boardview files for this model. Will check the logic board # once at the office but unit has been toyed with another repair shop and has no power. No onboard LEDs so suspecting the 300W Delta power supply is defective after a power brown out event.

Have another confirmed good power supply in transit for testing later today / tomorrow.

Will appreciate any feedback and schematics, if available.

        Thanks.
