Imac 2020 a2115 no image after reblays T2 Security chip
Hello! Has anyone encountered problems on the Imac 2020 27 inches with a T2 chip? I had to replace 2 T2 chips on two iMacs, the first one was successfully replaced, tested and given to the client. The second iMac after replacing the T2 is flashed, the system is installed through the target mod, it boots into the system, you can hear me tapping on the keyboard, but the image does not display (and to an external monitor​). I reballed the T2 chip, changed the processor, RAM, display. No positive result! My friend said that he had 2 such devices and on both of them, after replacing the T2 boards,... -

NO, it was empirically established that icloud is in T2 and not in SOC ROM! See post #301

1. Check resistances on all coils near PMU (a2179 u7800).
2. Check the resistances on all coils of the board.
3. Voltages do not jump?
4. Check if the SOC rom chip is installed correctly?
5. Do you enter dfu mode through a test point or a key combination? If the laptop does not see the SOC ROM it will be in DFU by default
6. Are you flashing a laptop with a connected power supply and battery?...Leave a comment:

Yes. But it not working, after replays only soc rom I have windows "activation server not found". I think t2 chip and sock rom must be together.

Hi people! The experiment has ended successfully! After replays T2 chip and SPI from water damaged board and restore via dfu mode - i have clear activation window and a can install OS system from recovery! Сalculator was fucked!Leave a comment:

Hi! my t2 chip transplant experiment failed. I successfully soldered the t2 chip but my board most likely has an underestimated resistance PP1V1_S3. This piece of shit, that I bought on ebay turned on black screen, after 5 times gomg and apple, before replayse t2 chip, after i have cycle dinamic voltage on PP5V_G3S. FUCKING CALCULATOR!
