    Need Bios for 820-3481-A

Hi all, would anyone happen to have a clean bios dump from an 820-3481 a1419 emc 2639 they would be able to share with me? I would greatly appreciate it.

Sure, here is the original bios dump and then one that I cleaned the ME region on. I am not having success with it however, and am wondering if another area of the bios got corrupted beside the ME region. The symptom of the iMac is it boots about half way and hangs, I have checked ram on another machine, CPU and SSD drive and all check out so far. Machine comes on and everything seems to be working except for full boot, both from recovery, usb disk and even imaging internal SSD. Thanks for any assistance with this.

So flashed your version and still same issue, hangs on boot about halfway. Bummer! Thanks for the effort, I really think I need a dump from a donor though. I have a feeling another area might be corrupt outside of the ME region.

Ok so that is strange, made a bootable Ubuntu USB key and hangs on boot there also. I made a Windows 10 PE bootable USB key and that indeed does boot. This is certainly a head scratcher. Thanks again for your assistance with this. I am at a loss.

Boot in Ubuntu in verbose mode and check where it hangs. And boot macOS in verbose mode too and check where it hangs as well.

                    Re: Need Bios for 820-3481-A

                    I have same issue.
Tried several bios dumps , cleaned its original dump . Checked Me strap at motherboard .

Finally no video and only 2 leds. Reballed gpu and video came back.

Booted in verbose mode . It says unsuported cpu unsuported PCH .

did boot once but got freeze at login . I guess with a no recognize pch , sata controller will be extremely low.

If someone have any clue about whats going on with these motherboards will be great.

I had same issue and it was nothing to do with the bios. Got it fixed by re-soldering the GPU RAM. Hope this will help.

                            Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                            🧩 Initial Issue
                            • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                            • External display (HDMI) shows
                            ...

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                            Some issues
                            A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                            by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                            Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
