Hi Guys,

I would like to request a Alienware Aurora R4 bios dump (bin/rom) , i beieve that latest bios is A11 , on the dell website it is only an exe file that i cannot extract.

Stickers on the board say DP\N 07JNH0 Rev A02


anybody can extract Dell bios from .Exe

I managed to recover a Dell Aurora R4 from your A11 bios . thanks alot.

Although the ram slot 3 and 4 got issue, I think now the board is running fine.. Could be that i go back to R4A03, it might work, as i put in the ram tester, all data lines are fine.

Bricked my bios also trying to mod it for no reason, live and learn. Used the bios dump with CH341A, which is a pain to get on 100% correctly with clip. Bios did work eventually and got the machine to work again. Ram slots 3/4 however now do not work and will cause the pc to boot loop until removed and left in 1/2 only. Any ideas why it would cause 3/4 ram slots to malfunction? I have 2 of these mobos, so even if bricked again it's okay. Just trying to see if i can actually find a solution to the other slots if possible. Seems to be common that the bios causes an issue with 2 ram slots. I'm open to options. And yes I know it's a little old, but paired with a 4930k 4.1Ghz on stock voltage with the asetek AW AIO, it runs like a champ. Open to ideas, if anyone is willing. Maybe try a bios dump from my working mobo? Just trying to not brick my good board...Thanks in advance!

I think if you can get your original bios .bin, it might solve the problem. I measured the used ram tester to diagnose it, it seems the ram slot is good. i seriously suspect so. I am unable to get hold of the original bios...

I was able to resolve a stuck A11 BIOS on an ME v7.
My i7-4930k now works normally in idle mode.
