EMC 2309 A1312 Core2 Duo does NOT have ME region?
It is not EFI?
If you drop the BIOS bin file on ME analyzer, it says: "File does not contain Intel Engine firmware"
If it really does have ME region and ME firmware, how do we clean ME region in this model?

No there's no ME region on Core 2 Duo machines, no need to clean it. You only have to change serial number and fix Fsys checksum.

Change RAM configuration and do 3x PRAM reset.
