First of all thank you very much for you reply and you effort trying to help! I really appreciate it from the deep of my heart.
I tried the bios and it doesnt work.. It doesnt make any sense!
The only thing i did was run the official a22 update from dells site and it finished 100% without any problems! After that motherboard powers on and black screen. Is there any possibility that bios update corupted something else except for bios? I used AsProgrammer to flash the chip. Should i use other program?
This is insane...bios flashes, reads and verifies with CH341A without any problems.
    What else can it be??

I tried to program every 8mb bios i found in this thread with my CH341A but none worked.

i have attached the bios i managed to read after the update to A22. Can someone please help me to fix my bios i will be grateful.

Re: Need bios Dell optiplex 3010

Can confirm that BIOS posted by foulou0238 on page 1 is working for me. Ended up using a Raspberry Pi 3, the ch341a (black) programmer, and flashrom built into Raspberry Pi OS to flash the ROM. I can't say for certain that flashrom/Linux was the fix in my case because I changed too many variables at once. Note: My rPi4 didn't work; the light on ch341a kept flashing weirdly just by being plugged in to the rPi4. Upon first successful boot after flash, Dell BIOS prompted me to enter the Dell Service Tag which I luckily was able to recover from previous BIOS dumps. Upon installing Windows 11 (thanks to Rufus) and providing my Microsoft account/password, Windows showed as activated.

This is the second time members on this site have helped me. The first time was with an actual bad cap on a Samsung TV. Many thanks!

Greetings, hoaca, everyone. I see that many people seem to have recovered their BIOS in the posts above, but I have been unable after many days of flashing BIOS files from this forum post and elsewhere. Would it be possible for you or someone to provide a BIOS for my Optiplex 3010 (042p49):
    Board code MIH61R MB 10097-1 48.3EQ01.011
    Service Tag is CYQKHX1
    BIOS chip is mx25l6406e

I blew up my BIOS using internal software programming and sadly had only dumped the "BIOS Region" of the BIOS. That file is attached and was created with fptw64.exe -bios -d 3010bios.bin, which resulted in only 6MB of the total 8MB needed. I have a ch341a (black) programmer that I would use to restore the BIOS.

    Thank you for your consideration.

P.S. The symptom I always see after every flash is that my display (a TV) is blank. The TV indicates via on-screen display that there is some kind of signal coming over the HDMI cable, but nothing ever displays on the screen.

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?
    by mrrubik
    Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

    Steps I took:
    1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
    2. Patched

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
    by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Help with BIOS update on Dell G15 5515 after chip replacement
    by capoplays
    Hey everyone,

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.

The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...

Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250 Bios Unlock
    by Akhlz001
    Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...
