Bios for Acer Desktop Motherboard IPIMB-AR Rev1.02a

I'm desperate to find the bios for this mobo, i got the mobo naked and i don't know from which desktop it comes.
    I have made a backup from bios chip, and it's a winbond W25X64 and it's a 8mb file.
all the bios that I was able to find are 3mb on size.
    Please Help me.

    Thank you

it's a UEFI bios, those use a hidden partition on the harddrive, i'm not sure how to get around those.

          what's wrong wih the machine?

Re: Bios for Acer Desktop Motherboard IPIMB-AR Rev1.02a

previous owner (eBay) says that it stuck on Acer logo, no other explanation, it seems that it happened after a update.
Here, I only get the fan to run fast, but no keyboard, video, mouse activity.
But even to get it started, I need to start the mobo several times, causes it seems that the psu is not giving enough juice (tried a 400 and 550 watts psu's).

unplug all the sata cables and try it.
              what cards are in it?

and post a foto, i'v never seen an acer desktop board.

so what happens if you unplug the drives?
you cant just flash a UEFI bios if the table on the drive is corrupt or the version does not match!

                  let me be more specific.
UEFI bios stores configuration data and other "stuff" on a hidden drive partition.
and bad sata drives can stop a motherboard starting.

It means that if my hdd dies, I'm stuck and need to buy another mobo ?
I bought the mobo alone/naked, well with the rear plate.

no, it means if your harddrive dies it can stop the board starting until it's unplugged.

so you have a board and cpu + ram.
are you testing it with a psu?
show a foto of the setup.

                            Hello everyone,
I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.

**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.

**What I have tried so far:**
                            1. I have my **original stock BIOS dump (1MB .BIN file)** from my laptop, which works and allows the laptop to power on normally (but no display with 9600M...

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
                            1. I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
                            2. I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
                            3. I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

                            Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                            🧩 Initial Issue
                            • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                            • External display (HDMI) shows

                            Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                            History:

                            1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...
