I have reset security then reset the bios to factory settings, saved and confirmed by typing in the numbers that I am resetting the bios but after soldering the original bios there is the password again. what am I doing wrong?

You have another 32MB or 16MB chip, post it.

I am sure there is only one bios chip but I will check again tomorrow

I have a hp prodesk 400 g6 mini with locked bios.
trying to unlock the bios but still stuck at the first steps.
I got a CH341A programmer and a SOIC8 clip.
The bios chip was not detected by neither neoprogrammer nor asprogrammer , and I could not find the chip model on their "supported chips" list.
bios chip model GD25B256E

Any kind of help would be appreciated !
