Hello bro, I wanted to know if you could give me the schematic of the b550m pro vdh wifi that you showed in the publication. I have the same error and I don't know how to identify the cms.

Hello there am interest about electronics but total noob about mesurment and i think i don't have right instrument...i was try to copy to put simular components from other donation MSI bord z690 and coponents look simular and i have on cople of places messing and on one place ripped components...would i be worry to put cpu and ram in this bord, before bord just try to boot constantly looping...any suggestions or advice how to chek components?4 PhotosLeave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
Checked on this chip what leg is connected to resistor pad and this lock like pin2 sense and in block diagram I see one with 10kohm 1% resistor this equal to my results from multimeter.
I make close up oh chip connected to capacitor pad

Hello friends, I know that it has been a long time since the last response, but if someone could help me, I have the same motherboard and I bought the computer second-hand, I disassembled it to clean it and I think that when I disassembled those components, my tracks are in good condition. condition but in my opinion a resistor and a capacitor are missing in the first photo a black resistor and in the second photo a brown ceramic capacitor the problem is that I don't know the values to be able to buy them on Ali express, if someone could tell me what components I should buy, I have been testing with components from a laptop motherboard and the computer turns on but restarts in a short time and in stress tests, I hope you can help me. Greetings, thank you and sorry for my language, I am Spanish.2 PhotosLeave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
Thanks for that. I checked that against the schematic and that is hotplug detection for the HDMI, I think it's unlikely that that is where my problem lies with this board as I am stuck with the CPU LED lit during boot. I'll keep looking to see if I can find where the issue lies.Leave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
Hello, Thanks in advance, I have a version of this board. MS-7C95 Ver:1.4
I too have a missing component that I can just barely see on the OP's post but the component marking is not sufficiently clear for me to make it out.
If you have this board can you check the component marking of the part in the location I have circled in my pics?
My board powers up but the CPU light stays lit without moving on to detect anything elseLeave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
My flux is some chine cheap paste staff my solders splatters everywhere , I have hot air but not much experience with.
93ohm change to 53ohm but this can be due repairing broken trace.
also 10k ohm show 9.6k but testing now under stress test Furmark dGPU Rx 470 + CPUz stress test for CPU and is stable, previous owner have instant crash when stress dGPU Rx 5700xt
I ordered some PVB-60 Varnish from AG Chemia because was cheaper than solder-maskLast edited by Rabit; 03-29-2022, 08:17 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
To cover the best solution is liquid soldermask (polish: soldermaska - easy to buy) you can paint it, and then harden with UV light. It also can act as kind of additional protective glue and is non-conductive. Apply only thin layers at one time, otherwise the UV light may not harden the liquid which is deeper beneeth the surface. Apply 2-3 layers to make is robust. You can use any type of UV light source, the stronger the better (but do not expose your eyes to UV light !!!!), so the hardening time will be lower. Even exposing to sunlight can harden this after a long time. The soldering looks not good but will most probably do its job, you should use more or better flux, maybe temperature is too high. Hotair gun would be better, but for one repair does not make sense to buy one. Also it is more difficult to use hotair gun, you need some practise to do it right, in order not to blow out the parts or overheat and destroy the PCB. Check the resistance of the resistor after soldering, it might happen that too long soldering or bad flux will decalibrate them, they are sensitive to chemical and temperature influence.Last edited by DynaxSC; 03-29-2022, 04:45 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
lol my 250mW resistor are so large that I not see pads, time to buy smaller one ;0
Capacitor soldered with coper wires, my work results do not look neat at all, my soldering skills are not top notchLast edited by Rabit; 03-28-2022, 04:54 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Msi B550M PRO-VDH Identified Missing Components
you can get grab another capacitor from another board . but same size and colour. the capacitor should be fine. its your copper thread broken and not connected. even if you dun fix the cap, it will still works.Leave a comment:

I bought a use Intel I9-12900KF CPU and i received it damaged. But it looks like only one component one the backside is missing. But the solder pads looks fine.
I already "googled" it and compare the backside picture of other LGA1700 12th Gen CPU. They look all the same, no matter if its an I9 or an I3, even the Pentium. And at that spot should be a capacitor.
Does anyone have a schematics or assembly diagramm of the alder-lake cpu-backside? Or just know what size and value i need to replace the missing capacitator.2 Photos-

by ugamazingBoard had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.
Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),... -
by jprezaHi everyone,
I recently acquired this card from a seller who was selling a PowerMac G5 for parts. He mentioned that the video card was probably broken too.
Upon closer inspection, I can tell the reason why it won't work: it's missing a bunch of CAPS! (it's also missing an inductor - 1.0uH).
It's a nice card as it's one of the few AGP cards that will support 2560 x 1600 resolution on a PowerMac G5 using a 30" Cinema Display.
Looking at the card, it appears to be missing the following:
1x 1.0uH inductor - orange square

by gurj1979Hey guys.
Need help with this one.
Fan not spinning due to missing PWN Fan signal.
Also 5 seconds from powering up it freezes, unless in BIOS.
But as soon as Windows starts to load, it will freeze.
CPU is COLD / Room temp when it freezes.
I've replaced the CPU, same problem.
Replaced SIO/KBC IT8987e and reprogrammed - same problem.
Replaced fan - same problem.
Replaced flex cable from board to daughterboard (which has fan connector on it) - same problem.
Checked the Thermal sensors around CPU and Board to the SIO/KBC and...08-19-2024, 05:22 PM -
by salopianHello. I would need some advice please.
My son's MBP suddenly stopped working and is now only getting the green-then-orange light on Magsafe and no fan spin.
He brought the MBP into the house (22 deg C) from a very cold conservatory (-3 deg C) and turned it on straight away. The Mac suddenly died a few minutes later.
I examined the logic board and couldn't find any signs of water damage, corrosion, blown up components etc. Nothing was ever spilt on it, and the logic board looks immaculate.
I have already replaced the logic board with another... - Loading...
