It's not particularly good news - There is kinda an 'unknown' cause of a fault that affects Asrock motherboards of a few different chipsets such as Z87 and I think H81 as well, which is why it seemed familiar and I asked the question about those two signals on the SIO chip.

I found these technical diagrams,Im not exactly sure how to use them for diagnosis. but perhaps reading each datasheet for each IC might be a start?

Would be good if someone had a proper technical service guide for this chipset. that way it would be easier than working blind

ok so i found this power sequence, is it possible that the sequence doesnt not complete? If that's the case will it cause the constant restarts?

Is there some kind of diagnostic mode where it can power up to the failed step so that we can check the circuitry for faults like I did with my latest successful repair of a Phillips Television?

Or is there some kind of step by step diagnostic used by gigabyte technicians?

Tell us if your motherboard was used in any acer system or was part of any pre built.ASAP
