    Need some help Identifying this

Well, I got this video card, and the bottom-right capacitor fell off. The legs are gone too.

btw, its used. I need to find out what kind of capacitor it is (SMD obviously, i'm guessin its 480pF)... Also, where could I get a replacement like this?

    btw, pics are attached

I am very good at soldering (Volt mod motherboards and video cards), but i'm just totally perplexed as to what kind of cap this is.

btw, I'm from the OCForums, if you guys like computers/overclocking, check it out. Maybe some of you guys are already from the OCForums

    looks like 180 uf @ 16v
likely a solid polymer not an electrolytic.
maybe get something close off some scrap board?

Hmm, would it be okay to get something at a higher pF and same voltage?

I don't think any scrap boards I have have this kind of cap. Most of the spare boards I have use electrolytic caps, ranging from 400pF-3300pF.

You guys think it'll be at mouser or digi-key?

I have an electronics store near me (You-Do-It Electronics), but I don't think they'd carry it.

            Man, I hate double-posting, but I think I found a solution.

Someone at the OCForums broke their 6600GT (chipped the core). His videocard has an Oscon SVP series cap, just like my FX5900. Its 16v, but it isn't 180pF. its 330pF. It should be fine if I use that, right?

EDIT: Heres a pic of that card. The caps state:

            446
            SVP
            330
            16

and look exactly the same as the one on the FX5900. I'm positive they are the same series and the likes.

should be excellent as long as they are both radial lead (with two legs going through the board)

please note they are not pf they are uf.

              1 microfarad ( uF ) = 10e-6 or 1/1000000th of a farad.
              1 nanofarad ( nF ) = 10e-9 farad OR 1/1000th of a mic
              1 picofarad ( pF ) = 10e-12 farad

                  Ahh, my bad.

Anyway, niether of those caps are radial lead. They are SMD. You may or may not see the points on the board, but they are surface mount. The caps sit on a plastic 'holder', if you will, and then the legs come out of the holder.

if you are carefull you can bend the leads of a radial to fit the smt pads.
                      solder as usual.

Yep, that's what I do. bend the leads on a radial pointing outwards, then tack them down to the pads.

does the cap itself have to be polymer? or can it be electrolytic?
