    EGVA p/n: 141-BL-E757-TR

    Hello All

I have a EGVA motherboard with a bad diode. The board component number is D11. Does anyone know the part value for this board? EGVA was no help.

    Thanks As Always,

    Hello Again,

Can I just use any three legged diode to replace this one? And no its noted on the board as a diode (D) not a transistor (Q). Anyone want to chime in on this?

    Thanks
    Lcdman

You should trace what circuit/chip it goes to so we can figure it out.

There are many types of SOT-23 diode configurations available - i.e. which pin is Anode/Cathode and whether there are 1 or 2 diodes in that device (since it does have 3 pins). Getting the wrong diode could cause further damage in the circuit, so that's why we have to find out what it should be.

I see it's near Q68, so at this point, I can only assume it possibly has something to do with being part of the RAM voltage regulator circuit.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
        by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
        • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
        • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Mitsubishi CNC switching power supply board dead / relay board bad diode failure
        by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

Engineering help - how does the charging circuit on this board work?
        by repair-it
This board attaches to 2 12v batteries in tandum (Black/Red squares). There is a 24v power supply that attaches at the 2 pin molex connector (circled in red). I need help to determine which components run the charging circuit in an effort to determine a point of failure. There are multiple via's, making it difficult to trace the circuit. Nothing appears to be shorted but I wasn't able to fully test as I do not have 2 12v batteries available. My assumption is that the micro controller (red question mark) determines when to turn the charging circuit on & off. I'm pretty sure a regulator and...
