EpoX EP-MVP3G-M Super Socket 7 recap

Hi all, I'm looking to fully recap this Super Socket 7 motherboard as one of the Teyah 1000uf 6.3v caps on it has failed. Here are some pictures of the two types of caps used on the board (Teyah 1000uf 6.3v and Teyah 100uf 16v). Can you please give some suggestions on what to use as replacements? I'm located in the US and I typically order from Digikey or Mouser, but not opposed to ordering from elsewhere. Thank you!

What is the Series and the diameter of the TAYEH 1000uf caps?
If they are 8mm in diameter these could work...

Most likely overkill for a socket 7 board.
I can not find a data sheet for TAYEH but others say TAYEH are close to TEAPO in specs.

Thank you for the reply. The diameter is 8mm on the 6.3v 1000uf caps. I’m not sure what series they are though - C925 is printed on them - is that the series?

The diameter for the 16v 100uf caps is 5mm. Any idea what I should use to replace those?

Thanks Sparkey! So its not a problem in this case to increase the capacitance from 100uf to 220uf?

            Hi everyone,

I'm working on an Acer Nitro 5 unit with the following specs:
            • Motherboard: LA-J871P Rev: 1B
            • Model: Acer AN515-55-59MT
            • S/N: NHQ7JAL00403906A973400
            • SNID: 03902728734

            Initial Issue

The laptop initially presented graphic issues and driver failure (Code 43) for the GPU.

After preventive maintenance (cleaning, thermal paste, etc.), it powered on normally. We disassembled it again to inspect the GPU, reassembled...

Asus ROG Ally - Super IO Chip replacement
            by ongobongo
            Hello everyone,
anyone here who has experience with replacing the super IO chip of an ROG ally?
I have one on my bench which has a burnt super io (ITE 5125VG-192). On some devices the super-io downloads it's firmware from BIOS if it's empty. As i don't have a programmer for this chips i hope someone here has already changed the chip and can give me a hint if it's working with an empty chip if it needs external programming.
            Thanks

            ASUS P5GC-MX motherboard recap
            by momaka
Here’s another motherboard that needed a full recap: an ASUS P5GC-MX.
This one was gifted to me some years ago by user Pentium 4, along with a few other goodies. It actually came in working order with no bulging or leaking caps. However, I noted there were United Chemicon KZG caps everywhere on the motherboard. The CPU VRM output (CPU V_core) was the only exception: it had only 2x KZG. The rest was 6x UCC TMV 4V 680 uF caps… which aren’t any good news either.

So here is what the motherboard looked like with its original caps:

            Swap Super I/O Lenovo Ideapad
            by Paul20
Hi, I would like some advice.
I have two motherboards, one with a dedicated GPU and the super I/O with obvious burn marks on it, and another working motherboard without a dedicated GPU.
My question is: can I swap the super I/O from the motharboard without dedicated GPU to the one with dedicated GPU? Will it work anyway or is that super I/O taken from the motherboard without GPU only good on motherboards without dedicated GPU?
The motherboards are exactly identical even in terms of versions...the only difference concerns the dedicated GPU in one and not in the other.
