    Re: Endless repeated beep ?

Why don't you check the website of the motherboard vendor and the cpu compatibility list ?
What's the point of owning a card if you don't know what the error codes mean ?
Have you got a GUARANTEED WORKING stick of memory with no faults in ?
Have you tried another CPU ?

if its an award bios board, it should mean memory not present or bad. try another memory module. if it still doesnt work, try another dimm slot. it could be one or more bad dimm slots.

Is your memory a known 100% working compatible stick ?

Could it be CPU matter ? but it's LGA 775...from I can read and learn...there is some different core for LGA 775, that's I've been thinking...

Booting Linux is not testing the memory. Test the memory fully and report back.

msi sometimes uses either award or ami for their bios so guessing what bios vendor it is could be tricky. but if its ami bios, a post code stop at C1 means it stopped at setting the processor boot strap information. maybe cpu not recognised or supported by the board? try another known working cpu with a slower fsb?

this is either a ram/cpu not recognised or supported problem.

I haven't put any memories on it so I reduced the posibility of faulty memory...
trying to debug it one step to another...
There's a possiblity on memory as well...but in this case I didn't put it yet...how can the software at BIOS saying it's a faulty one unless it's doing something quirky..??

                                          by Ymotaqi
The motherboard does not POST and has the following symptoms:
When the power button is pressed, the fans and RGB turns on.
When the power button is pressed, the motherboard voltages 12, 5, and 3 are connected.
                                          The motherboard does not beep.
None of the diagnostic LEDs light up.
                                          USB voltage is off.
                                          VCORE voltage is off.
The BIOS software was downloaded from Asus site and installed using the Q FLASH button, but it made no difference.
I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me on the cause of the problem.

                                          No beep, nothing.

After some tests i found this :
                                          - PSU is fine (12 volts stable)
                                          - 12 volts line is shorted

                                          - By the way, nothing change. No signal, no power, no beep.

PS5 EDM-033 One Beep,No Lights, No Power Troubleshooting Help
                                          by WVUfan
hello. i've a ps5 edm-033 mobo w/ no power, lights, but one beep when power pressed. i've hooked to uArt and only error code is 80871001 (DDR4 No Power or Short Circuit). i have a donor board, same model, that does power up, fan spins, blue light, and beeps 3 times, then powers off. it has a botched HDMI port replacement job. so w/ the board i'm interested in, with the error 80871001, i was able to research and obtain voltages of the SSD PMIC. i've attached pictures of the provided diagram by DylanBBK (@d62 on Discord) and my voltages and picture of my board. my question is on my picture...

                                          by ktmmotocross
